Humanities
Humanities has always been one of my favorite subjects, offering a fascinating exploration into the diverse aspects of human experience. I am particularly drawn to studying religion, culture, and philosophy. These areas allow me to explore the depths of human thought, belief, and the cultural frameworks that shape our world. Understanding these elements not only broadens my perspective but also deepens my understanding of human societies. This fascination with humanities forms the foundation for the following papers.
I wrote this paper as a report for The Man Awakened from Dreams Book by Henrietta Harrison. My paper aims to offer insights into the broader human experience as reflected in Liu Dapeng's life story.

This paper looks at Charlotte Perkins Gilman's life and her influential work "The Yellow Wallpaper." It explores how her personal experiences and the societal norms of her time influenced this powerful story, which touches on themes of gender and mental health.

My paper on 'The Stories of Chuang Tzu' explores the philosophical and metaphysical themes presented in the ancient text, examining its impact on Eastern philosophy. In contrast, my analysis of 'Hegel's Understanding of History' looks at the German philosopher's perspective on the role of the 'World Spirit' in shaping historical events and the development of civilizations, offering insights into his unique approach to history and philosophy. Both papers underscore the broad range of ideas and perspectives of philosophical thought across cultures and eras.

In my World Religion course, I analyzed the concept of Samsara in Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, and Sikhism. I examined how each religion historically interpreted the cycle of reincarnation, focusing on their unique perspectives and practices. This analysis highlighted the varied approaches and spiritual understandings of Samsara across these major world religions.

In this English essay, I explored the significant impact of income inequality in America. The paper scrutinizes the various facets of this issue, including its effects on the education system, businesses, and the political landscape. The essay presents a critical analysis of how income disparity shapes American society and the challenges it poses to achieving economic and social equilibrium.
